Aku Video To iPad Converter is a powerful video converter and editor. With it, you will be able to convert video formats like AVI, MKV, FLV, VOB, MKV, MPG, DAT, MOV, MP4, XviD, RMVB, and QT into the Mp4 format, which is the format supported by iPad, iPad 2, iPhone and many portable devices, including many cell phone models. The program will also allow you to edit your video files. With it, you can crop your videos to remove black edges or annoying advertisements. Moreover, you can use it to create clips from large video files. The program comes with a media player to play your video files. On it, you will be able to set Start and End points to split your files. The program features a modern interface. However, it took me more than a minute to find the button to add files into the program's main window. You won't see an 'Open file' button so you might get confused at first. You will have to click on the 'Start Now' button on the video editor to run the wizard converter and only then you will be able to add the files to convert. Before converting your files, you can adjust output parameters such as video and audio bit rate, sample rate, frame rate and channels. The program also lets you set the output video's brightness, contrast and saturation. Besides all the mentioned features, the application also supports batch conversion and allows you to extract images from your videos.
The program's free trial version will add a watermark to the output videos and it can only be used for a period of 15 days.
